Accommodation on Tiree is plentiful. There are two hotels, the Tiree
Lodge Hotel and the Scarinish Hotel. There are numerous B&B's,
cottages
to rent and guest houses. If you prefer to take self catering further
still,
free camping is permitted. Just make sure you are well pegged-down in
the
windy season.

Transport
There
are two ways to get to Tiree. By sea or by air. The CalMac
ferry leaves from Oban four or
five
times per week, weather permitting and takes four and a quarter hours.
The current summer season ferry is the MV
Clansman and the winter season ferry is the MV
Lord of the Isles. There is a single flight every day except Sunday
from Glasgow airport - it's a small plane with minimal luggage
capacity,
so don't plan on flying out with your windsurfing gear.
