A Brocken Spectre and a White Light Fogbow on Beinn an Toib!

Monday 6th May 2002. An early start looked the order of the day when I looked out the window at 06:30. The Sound of Harris was in clear sunshine but the islands at the south side of the sound were caught in a low mist. After a quick shower, I stepped out the door into thick mist! Thinking the mist wouldn't last long, I quickly headed up Beinn an Toib with camera and tripod only to find the mist level following me as I gained height. Later in the morning I took some nice photos of The Cuillin of Skye floating over the mist from Stranndabhal, but at this stage my only consolation was half an hour of Brocken Spectres and White Light Fogbows (according to this link).
